Proven academic experience in the Higher Education sector, with a decade of full professorship. Skilled in Artificial Intelligence, (Big) Data Science, Operational Research, and Management Science.
As a leading voice in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, I enhance enterprise and enterprises by means of adopting various types of Advanced Analytics (Predictive, Prescriptive, and Cognitive) via Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and (Stochastic) Optimisation algorithms; all of which can help in gaining insight for better productivity and value creation.
I am skilled in the art of monetising data, with a strong sense of data ethics, and a demonstrated ability to leverage data assets for enhanced business performance. For more than 20 years, I have led and executed many industry-driven projects with a blend of academic and scientific rigor in various countries, in areas such as advertising, agriculture & agribusiness, banking, consumer products, electronics, energy, manufacturing, and transportation. Developed the 4ˆ3 Architecture for Service Innovation.
I have a proven track record of research publications, with more than 150 research outputs with strong scientific rigor, having been a full professor and director of research for more than a decade. Recipient of many honours and awards.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. I hold a PhD in Operations Research, I am a postdoctoral research fellow from National University of Singapore, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Hold Executive Certificates from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School, and IE Business School.
